There are lots of variations of The Alphabet Game, but in this context, I’m talking about playing The Alphabet Game to help you remember your trips.
You can play this game as a solo traveller too.
I heard about the game on this episode on The Indie Hackers podcast (at about the 34:45 minute mark).
The concept is super simple and you play the game at the end of a trip (in the car/airport or whatnot).
In short, you come up with some memory from the trip for all 26 letters of the alphabet.
You start by listing multiple ideas for each letter of the alphabet, then you go through and choose memory for each letter that you can remember that trip by.
Afterward, you can take a photo of the list, or even turn it into a poster.
The best part about The Alphabet Game is you get to control the ending of your trip. You’ll get to reminisce about the food you ate, things you did, inside jokes, people you met, places you met etc.
